What was your degree and experience before joining our team? I graduated from OSU with a BS in Mechanical Engineering (go Pokes!). I interned with a small oil and gas consulting firm, and completed co-op’s with a major airline and defense contractor while I was at OSU, all in various mechanical/aerospace engineering roles.

What made you choose a software consulting career at capSpire?  I wanted to do something that was going to be constantly challenging, rewarding, and evolving. My previous roles in mechanical engineering were challenging in their own way, but nothing compares to a day in the life of a software consultant, especially at capSpire!

What was your biggest takeaway from our training?  You never really stop learning in a role like this–there were moments in bootcamp where we were required to do things that many people we worked with weren’t sure how to do, but the collaborative nature of the company and more importantly, the people, led us to success. I can definitely say this was one of the best ways to prepare for being a client-facing consultant.

What do you enjoy the most about capSpire?     No day is ever the same! Every day I go to work, I get to dig into problems and figure out how to solve them–often times, it’s a problem that hasn’t been solved before, but I constantly have resources and people to help me out. There’s no better feeling than hearing praise from a user and knowing that it’s something that you built that will make them more successful!

What was your degree and experience before joining our team?   I graduated from Trinity College in Dublin with a double major in Economics and Philosophy and then spent 5 years working as a Financial Trader, Trading Systems Developer, and Middle Office Risk & Market Access Pro.

What made you choose a software consulting career at capSpire?  The variety of work excited me, being a part of the 2-month training in the US, and I also enjoy the travel piece of consulting.

What was your biggest takeaway from our training?  There was a huge amount to learn from training, and it gave me a great foundation to continue learning more in this industry.

What do you enjoy the most about capSpire?  I enjoy the friendly competition, the professional freedom, and the depth of resources on our team.

What was your degree and experience before joining our team?   I graduated with a degree in Public Relations in 2011. I first worked with a commercial print company in a Leadership Development program; I realized very quickly that my passion lay with technology and software. I focused on learning what I could about the technology available to me and worked with a financial servicing company as Application Support for another year before finding capSpire.

What was your degree and experience before joining our team? What made you choose a software consulting career at capSpire? My dad has been in consulting for most of my life and it has always fascinated me. When I started looking at companies and considering my next move, my dream job was software consulting and luckily I developed enough skills to be successful with capSpire.

What was your biggest takeaway from our training?     After boot-camp I really felt like I knew enough about the system to be dangerous, and that gave me a level of confidence I needed to do well in my first project. I really love that capSpire spent that much time with each of us getting us prepared.

What do you enjoy the most about capSpire?I love everything about capSpire – sorry to be cheesy. I really enjoy all of the people that work at capSpire and everyone has such a great attitude and spending time with other capSpirians is always a blast.
