Mike Scharf

Mike is a serial entrepreneur with a nose for problems and inefficiencies that demand to be solved. Throughout his decades-long career in the CTRM consulting niche, he is continually at the forefront of elegant and creative solutions to problems that are too complex for others to solve. Mike is known for a relentless work-ethic, never willing to “turn off” until the problem is resolved, and his ability to advise “C-level” leaders on strategic initiatives. Mike remains engaged with clients on a daily basis and is always looking for like-minded companies to leverage capSpire’s product and consulting groups to those who need hard problems solved. Mike is a 1997 Graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Jeff Hardcastle

Co-Founder

Jeff is a prototypical “problem solver” with a unique ability to execute on ideas that result in elegant processes and solutions. Jeff’s fingerprints are all over capSpire as he has led the charge in growing capSpire from the original founders to our current global footprint. Jeff’s created the unique capSpire culture that attracts and retains the best and brightest problem-solvers in the industry and has shaped capSpire into a truly unique company that always innovates everything we do. Jeff is affectionately known as the “CCO” (capSpire Culture Officer) yet remains engaged with many clients helping solve complex problems and drive client value on a daily basis. Jeff is a 1997 Graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Lance Laubach

Chief Executive Officer

Lance joined capSpire in 2011 as CEO and is charged with defining and executing strategic initiatives of the company. Lance’s deep background in software, consulting and start-up organizations positions him perfectly to help lead capSpire through the rapid growth challenges of an innovation-oriented company. His vast experience in the CTRM space has included the roles of Director of Professional Services and Global Practice Manager for SolArc, Vice-President at TouchStar Solutions, and Director at Opportune. Lance has a Bachelor of Science and MBA from Oklahoma State University. He is an active member of the Youth Services of Tulsa Advisory Board, OSU Spears School of Business Alumni Society Board and Young Presidents’ Organization.

Lyndal McMurphy

Vice President Consulting Services

Lyndal is actively engaged in the strategic and day-to-day operations of capSpire’s consulting division. A career consultant for two decades, Lyndal pushes the capSpire team to always challenge the status quo and molds capSpire’s consultants to his reputation of a persistent, creative problem-solver. Lyndal is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University and CPA by training.

Trent Amos

Vice President Software Sales and Marketing

Trent is an experienced leader with a proven track record of implementing solutions that deliver results. He leads capSpire’s Commercial Software Products group and drives the direction of new solutions for the Gravitate platform. Trent is also tasked with managing capSpire’s corporate-wide sales and marketing initiatives with a focus on delivering value to customers. Prior to joining capSpire in 2012, Trent served as a Senior Account Executive with SolArc, where he implemented supply chain and hedging solutions for some of the largest transportation companies in the world. Throughout his career, Trent delivered dozens of complex CTRM projects and advised senior leadership with best practices to manage commodity supply chains and commodity marketing operations. Trent is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.

Dave Webb

Managing Director, capSpire Ltd.

As Managing Director of capSpire Ltd, Dave Webb is fully engaged in defining and implementing capSpire’s overseas strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and building on the firm’s initial success throughout the EMEA region. Prior to joining capSpire Ltd, Webb gained extensive global experience in the commodity trading, risk management and financial services technology industry. He previously served in senior management positions at Opportune, Bord Gáis Éireann, and Misys. Dave is a graduate of the University of Limerick with a BBS in Economics & Finance and earned an MBA from the University College Cork.

Bernard Wehbe

Co-Founder and Managing Partner, StatSlice Systems, Inc.

Mr. Wehbe is a highly sought-after professional with over 16 years of consulting experience focused exclusively on data warehousing, analytics and business intelligence. His experience includes data warehousing architecture, OLAP, data modeling, ETL, reporting, business analysis, team leadership, and project management. Prior to founding StatSlice Systems, Mr. Wehbe served as a technical architect for Hitachi Consulting in the Dallas, TX area. Mr. Wehbe received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering and management from Oklahoma State University.

Bret Kimmel

ECM Practice Director

Bret Kimmel recently joined capSpire as the ECM Practice Director. He has over 25 years of experience in knowledge management and information technology. He has guided Fortune 500 companies through acquisition, identification, classification, storage, security, and distribution of knowledge capital. Bret has deep business acumen and experience in IT systems across a broad range of industries including oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, transportation, food and beverage, technology, sales and marketing, and communication. Bret attended Radley College in Oxford, England, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rice University in Houston.

Rob Parker

Managing Director, Technology

Rob has over 15 years of experience in technology and CTRM, and provides solutions that consider underlying technical infrastructure, trade life-cycle and user expectations. He has experience working with public and private sectors in client-engagement, vendor-facing and client-facing roles in demanding environments. Rob continuously exceeds stakeholder expectations, ensures all parties are engaged and that requirements are clearly understood. With 9 years of functional and technical-implementation experience across multiple commodities, Rob brings a unique knowledge of the Allegro platform. He has delivered many enterprise-ready solutions that solve complex business problems within the Allegro application, and his expertise helps clients maximize their Allegro investments, optimize performance and achieve project success.
