The capSpire Boot Camp: What You Need to Know

Are you a recent college graduate who’s considering joining the capSpire team? If so, you’re probably wondering what happens next after you go through the recruitment process. Once you’ve officially secured your place on capSpire’s team—after the obligatory celebration, of course, you will be on your way to the capSpire Bootcamp program.

You may be thinking, “Boot camp? What the….? This sounds intense.” Well, it is a challenge, but just not in the drill-sergeant-made-me-do-fifty-push-ups way.

What exactly is the capSpire boot camp?

It’s capSpire’s answer to a traditional graduate training program. Designed for recent graduates or professionals with a number of years of relevant experience. It’s an opportunity for global hires to participate in a training program which is focused on providing them with the tools required to become successful consultants over a period of eight weeks. With a more comprehensive, in-depth curriculum than many other companies, you’ll walk away with the information, skills, tools, and mentoring relationships you’ll need to begin your career on the right foot.

What will you learn about?

Boot camp bridges the knowledge gap between what you learn in college and the skills required to be successful as a consultant. Qualifications are considered equally important as skills such as working effectively within a team, problem-solving, and good time management.

The program also has many beneficial elements such as:

  • An introduction to capSpire and “the capSpire way” of working.
  • In-depth understanding of the industries & markets capSpire operates within.
  • Developing an understanding of capSpire’s products and services, which includes functional and technical training in CTRM software, as well as specific vendor training from capSpire’s software partners.
  • Attain the knowledge and skills required which enable you to hit the ground running on your first client engagement within a Fortune 500 company.

What sets the capSpire boot camp experience apart?

Very few companies dedicate the equivalent time and resources on setting employees up for success or providing access to company leadership. During your first weeks of boot camp, you have the opportunity to learn from the co-founder of the company, Jeff Hardcastle. He provides an introduction to the company, the fundamentals of the CTRM industry and from his experience the skills he feels necessary to become a successful consultant. Forming these relationships with company leaders early in your career is indicative of capSpire’s flat structure and unique, people-oriented culture.

Finally, boot camp culminates in a mock implementation and provides participants with the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they developed throughout the boot camp program. It simulates the client environment and replicates the stages of delivering a CTRM solution.

What is work like after completing boot camp?

Overall, boot camp is an intense and challenging process after which you will return to your home office and continue to complete vendor certifications while solving client problems by contributing to developing unique solutions within a collaborative team environment.
