What You Need to Know about the Global Allegro Customer Summit 2019

Allegro Summit

Once again, the Global Allegro Customer Summit—this year attended by more than 55 Allegro clients from across the globe—was a resounding success.

A few weeks ago, capSpire supported the annual Allegro user conference in Coronado, California, as a top-level Titanium sponsor. As a premier partner of Allegro, we also served as a conference exhibitor and as the host of a prominent networking event: a wine tasting and tour at the picturesque Orfila Winery, which drew more than 80 attendees.

Mike Scharf, capSpire Co-Founder, participated in a panel discussing the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain, on the commodities trading industry. Alongside thought leaders and industry veterans, Mike brought an energy-industry perspective to the discussion of these technologies, emphasizing the real-world impacts of their adoption within businesses.

During the course of the 4-day event,  Allegro made many important announcements:

  • In the coming months and throughout 2019, Allegro will start to introduce a new user experience leveraging browser-based interaction and a mobile application.
  • Following its acquisition of Financial Engineering Associates (FEA), Allegro is integrating FEA models into Horizon for a more robust analytics offering. The combined offering is called Allegro Analytics.
  • A new, proprietary process and testing automation tool can help clients reduce the testing phase during Allegro Horizon implementations and upgrades.
  • Allegro now serves more than 280 companies and more than 8,800 individual users and operates in more than 50 countries.

Throughout the conference, partner presentations focused on how customers can maximize their investment in an Allegro CTRM system and predicting what’s ahead for the industry.

For the capSpire team, the opportunity to support the Allegro eco-system at this conference is equally important as the knowledge gained.

capSpire is pleased to continually support Allegro at its annual customer summit. We can share best practices around Allegro implementations and upgrades, learn more about Allegro’s future roadmap, and engage in conversation with clients from all backgrounds about how our industry-leading expertise can enhance their projects and overall user experience. Furthermore, we can help to connect our current customers with other Allegro users so they can exchange best practices and leverage experiences,” says Larry Loocke, capSpire Managing Director. “The fact that the conference gives us the opportunity to make these connections in casual social settings is a bonus.”
